Applications are now open for the Climate Resilience Awards for Business 2026, a global awards programme launched by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in partnership with the Global Resilience Partnership (GRP).
Following a successful inaugural edition in 2025, the awards return to recognize businesses that are implementing innovative and measurable climate resilience and adaptation solutions. The initiative celebrates organizations that are helping communities, value chains, infrastructure, and ecosystems become more resilient to climate change while inspiring others through practical, scalable solutions.
The Climate Resilience Awards for Business recognize organizations that are demonstrating leadership by implementing real-world climate resilience initiatives with measurable impact.
The awards aim to:
Organizations can submit projects under one of four categories:
Projects that improve the resilience of buildings, energy systems, transport networks, industrial facilities, and other critical infrastructure against climate-related hazards.
Initiatives that strengthen water security by addressing drought, flooding, water scarcity, or improving sustainable water management.
Projects that build resilience throughout agricultural production, food processing, storage, logistics, and supply chains to enhance food security.
Initiatives that improve the resilience of workers, communities, customers, and value-chain partners to climate impacts.
