Are you a young climate leader in Asia-Pacific with a bold idea to tackle the climate crisis in your community? The YECAP Climate Impact Micro-Grants 2026 are here to turn your vision into action. This programme provides up to USD $2,000 to youth-led climate initiatives in selected Asia-Pacific countries, supporting projects focused on climate mitigation, adaptation, renewable energy, food and water resilience, and nature-based solutions.
Who Should Apply
The grant is open to youth-led organizations, informal youth groups, and youth-led social enterprises based in eligible Asia-Pacific countries. Strong candidates will:
- Clearly define a local climate problem their project addresses
- Provide measurable outcomes and realistic timelines
- Highlight community participation and youth leadership
- Demonstrate sustainability beyond the grant period
- Show how their project builds on or scales existing efforts
⚠️ Vague environmental awareness campaigns without concrete implementation plans are not prioritized.
What Projects Are Funded
Priority is given to projects focused on climate mitigation, adaptation, renewable energy, food and water resilience, nature-based solutions, and climate literacy. Preference is also given to ongoing or scalable initiatives, though new projects are eligible.

Reporting Requirements
All funded activities must be completed before June 2026, with a final impact report submitted within two weeks of project completion.
